Anita Mui, Sweet 25

If Anita Mui was still alive, 2 days later would be her 42nd birthday.  Ever since she started her career, she almost spent every 10/10 with a group of friends around her. [Throwing a birthday party is just an excuse to gather friends together.  Those we don't meet often all will appear on that day.]  She liked crowds, after that, loneliness would creep in silently.  She loved her fans, otherwise she would not step on to the stage at the last stage of her life; during her birthday, she would cut cakes with her fans, accepting gifts and blessings.  In return, she would sing a few songs for them.  The picture taken when she was singing and dancing during her birthday party in 1988 became the cover of Mingpao Weekly Magazine.

Looking at the picture, can you guess what song Ah Mui was performing?  It's [Siu Won and Siu Kit].  I like her singing that song live, like her using childlike voice, expression and movement to perform.  That's not the usual Ah Mui.  At the moment when the picture was taken, she was really in very good mood because she was in love.

Afraid that "love would die" once exposed

This time the leading male role is Michael, a mix, from Macau, working for an hotel, a amateur model.  Ah Mui is 2 months  senior to him.  Their romance started to circulate after they shot the ad for the watch in Shanghai and Nanjing.

All Ah Mui's romance "would die" after it's exposed.  So when I asked her about Michael, she hesitated.  [I'm afraid when I say too much, it will finish again.] But she doesn't like do things stealthily.  Even though failed once and then again and again, she still likes to be frank.  [People think that I change boyfriends all the time.  Actually once I love someone, I get very involved. Don't mistake that I'm that playful.]
